Blog: November 28. Catch-up time

It’s Sunday afternoon and I’m just starting to gather the threads of the past and coming weeks. I’ve been on holiday. No dirt bikes, no mountain bikes and no work. It’s been a great week, but now I have to pay the price. There’s over 90 e-mails on my work e-mail address, so I’ve decided they can wait until tomorrow morning. Blog: November 21. A bit glum, but smiling

It’s Saturday afternoon. The World Rally Championship is tearing up the trails around home, and Craig Murcott and Marty Blake invited me to join them taking in some of the action yesterday. Of course it was a work day, so I would’ve had trouble getting away, but what made me glum was not having a registered bike to go with them, even if I’d wanted to. Blog: November 14. Been on Safari

The BMW GS Safari, that is. Not the desert race Safari, not the New Zealand Yamaha Safari and not the GS Safari Enduro. Just the original BMW GS Safari, an excellent dualsport ride if ever there was one. The GS Safari is in its 22nd year, and there’s no doubt it’s been refined over the years.
