February 1 and 2. Looking for riders.

OldBullRideWauchope11Marty Hardcore was here today and mentioned he’s heading down to the Old Bull ride at Wauchope on February 1 and 2. He’s looking for a posse to ride with him, so if you’re keen, track him down and let him know. You can e-mail here, if you like, and I’ll pass it on.

I’m not sure if they’ll still be called ‘Old Bull’ rides this year. TB – owner of Old Bulls – has a new venture called ‘Ride ADV’, and it where it used to be free, there’s now a charge. Marty thinks it’s $50 per day, and that’s as cheap as chips for the riding on offer. TB does know how to set ’em up.

I’ve done a couple of the Old Bull rides now, and I think they’re brilliant. I did the last one at Wauchope with Graham Whipp, and it was a great ride. I’ve been invited to this one, too, but whether or not I can do it will depend my work commitments.

If you’d like to give it a try, let Marty know.
