Blog: September 29. Done nothin’.

It’s been a busy week, and I’ve done nothing but sit at my desk and try and catch up on work.

The Scrapheap ride looks like it went off with a bang, and Perry Gilsenan was very happy with the result. Not just the fundraising, but the way the event ran and the people that were there. I forgot to mention last week that Chris Laan and Maso gave up their time o sweep the ride in the Coffs Shed Market ute. It would’ve been a very nice day in the vehicle, but even so, it meant those two guys giving up their weekend, and they were a big help picking up bikes and trailering them to the canoe centre.

The only small incident I can report this week was finding a small split in the Dominator’s seat. Naturally I went into overdrive and spent an immensely enjoyable 10 minutes finding a new seatcover and buying it. It should be here any day.

That’s about it from me this week, I’m afraid.

Marty Hardcore is going full throttle in finishing his next disc in time for Christmas, and it looks every bit as good as the first one – if he’d make up his mind on a cover he’d have a chance of getting it done – and he has plenty of magazine interest.

Good on him.

That’s all from em for now.
