Dave and Karen Ramsay’s ride. Great pics!

“Hi Tom,” said Dave Ramsay in an e-mail.

“Just sending a few photos of our great trip south after seeing you all off in the rain on Sunday morning near Dungog (see the blog from January 11 – TF).

“Marty’s Sat route was a terrific start to our 10-day, 3300km ride to some fantastic locations on great tracks and trails. Highlights were the Wollar Road through the Bylong Valley in the rain, Blackfellows Hand Trail through the Gardens Of Stone, Glowworm Tunnel Road, anywhere around Wisemans Ferry, Watagans Forest Road, Dingo Tops to Toms Creek to Spokes Trail and finally riding home via Carpet Snake Creek fire trail northwest of Emmaville.

“We met up with Sir Philly and Carbon Kid plus two of his mates from Sydney at Dingo Tops last Friday night and we headed down to Old Bar for the Bayliss Classic Saturday morning while Karen headed 780km home via Toms Creek, Styx River, Wollomombi Station etc. She left us at 8.00am and was home at 9.30pm. That was a bloody huge day, and she’s been doing assignments ever since.

“I spent a couple of days exploring on my own and was home late Monday.

Cheers, Dave”
