Blog: October 10. A quiet week

It’s Bathurst day, so this will be quick.

I’ve been at my desk all week, so I don’t have much to report. I found some spots of oil under the KLR, but it turned out to be chain lube, so that was okay. I have some bits and pieces here to be fitted whenever Craig Murcott/Dan Vaughan has time, and then I somehow have to get the bike to Wangaratta in Victoria. If anyone’s going down that way and can take a bike, give me a shout. I’m happy to chip in for fuel and costs.

I see it was Dave Ramdog’s birthday yesterday. On ya’, Dave. Well done for spending the time on the bike and with Karen and family.

Bathurst time!

  1. Cheers Tom, snuck a nice 900klm loop in that included an overnight bush camp at Tommys Lookout with some lovely granite & gravel roads & tracks either side of there. Home in time for Dinner with Karen, who’s flat out catching up with Uni assignments 🙁

Heads up early for another Wattle Flat camp. Wilbur & I are planning one for possibly late Nov. For anyone who’d like to plan a creative way to get out there & Camp with us then ride down through Georges Creek the next morning. Will post info up soon.
